Sparklo and Zero Waste Expand Recycling Infrastructure in Astana, Kazakhstan

Sparklo has partnered with Zero Waste to expand access to convenient recycling infrastructure in Astana. Zero Waste, a local waste collection company, is supporting the development of the Sparklomat network across the city, bringing more opportunities for residents to recycle bottles and cans.

Five Sparklomats are already operating in Astana, including locations in parks, supermarkets, and other public spaces. By placing recycling machines in places people already visit, the partnership makes returning used packaging a simpler part of everyday routines.

The network will continue to grow, with more Sparklomats planned across Astana. By combining Zero Waste Kazakhstan’s local expertise with Sparklo’s recycling infrastructure, the partnership is creating a more accessible collection network and making it easier for more people across the city to recycle.
