Sparklo introduces smart recycling solutions in the Philippines through key sustainability events πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

Sparklo recently introduced its smart recycling solution to the Philippine market through participation in two key sustainability events: the Pasig ICE Hub Inauguration, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and an event organised by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

At both events, we showcased our Sparklomat, giving participants a hands-on opportunity to see how technology can support responsible consumption, waste reduction, and circular economy initiatives in practice.

The events brought together representatives from public institutions, environmental organisations, and sustainability leaders, creating valuable space for discussion around how data-driven recycling infrastructure and cross-sector partnerships can contribute to national environmental goals.

We were also honoured by the visit of the Mayor of Pasig, Mr. Vico Sotto, alongside the UNDP Resident Representative, Mr. Christophe Bahuet, both of whom took the time to engage with the solution and experience the Sparklomat first-hand. Their interest reflects the growing attention from local and international leadership towards practical, technology-enabled recycling systems that can support cities and communities.

These engagements mark an important step in Sparklo’s expansion into the Philippines and reinforce our commitment to working closely with local stakeholders to build accessible, scalable, and impact-driven recycling infrastructure across the country.
